THE SOUND OF MUSICALS
REMEMBERED.......
Below are some pictures,
taken by TOpS official photographer Keith Brignell, of our
last production "The Sound
of Musicals" a fund raising cabaret
performed in The St Georges Suite at the home of our
official sponsors The Rugby Football Union at the Twickenham
Stadium in Twickenham.
The evening was a
musical mélange from 30 musicals and the company of 30
members loved singing songs from shows they have enjoyed
watching, and being in, through the years, from G&S to "We
Will Rock You"...a real mixture to suit all tastes!
The M.C. Ian Stark
guided the audience through the various sections and got the
audience up dancing " The Lambeth Walk " around the
tables.....and the evening got noisier and noisier as the
grand finale finished with the audience and company joining
together in a rousing version of "Stand By Me"
TOpS would like to thank
everyone who came and supported this highly successful fund
raising event, the Technical crew, Ian Nethersell our stage
manager, Babette, Gill and T.J. ( the production team ), the
amazing TOpS company who raised the roof with their
performances, and especially Fraser Cullen at the RFU who,
as always, was our greatest supporter. THANK YOU
to you all.
