With The Young Set, Babette provides the children for pantomimes in Richmond Theatre, Wimbledon and Windsor and, through numerous charity galas, cabarets and Young Set productions, has raised thousands of pounds for The Variety Club of Great Britain. In recognition of her work,
Babette was awarded a solid gold heart by the International Variety Club, which was presented to her in Los Angeles, U.S.A. In 2000, Babette was presented with the 'Accolade' by the Richmond Arts Council for her services to the Variety Club of Great Britain and TOPS. Babette is a Vice President of TOPS.

Mervyn Bryn-Jones – Musical Director
Mervyn has spent his life making music. He is a distinguished musician both as a singer and a conductor. Mervyn first joined TOPS in 1988 and conducted eight of TOPS award winning shows including My Fair Lady in 1993 and High Society in 1995.
In 1995 Mervyn relinquished the baton to concentrate on his singing but the urge to join Gill & Babette again proved too strong and he returned in 2005 to conduct 'My Fair Lady', in 2006 he conducted the Scarlet Pimpernel and 2007 saw him conduct the award winning 'Hello Dolly!'

Gillian Wade - Director
Director Gill has been a member of Twickenham Operatic since 1964 and directed her first show, Camelot in 1980. Gill  celebrated her 27th production as Director of TOPS in 2007.

In 2002 Gill was elected President of the Society following in the steps of her Father, Peter Holloway. Gill's performances and productions have been honored with many Awards for the various groups she has worked with, including the Accolade for Service to Musical Theatre from Richmond Arts Council in 1993 - their highest award - and the 'Swan' Award to TOPS for 'Best Musical' ten times. Gill sits on the Executive Committee of  ArtsRichmond - (formerly, The Richmond -Upon-Thames Arts Council.)
