TOpS Present the
Annual "Carols at the Crown" on Sunday 19th December.
In
spite of thick snow and roads like ice rinks there was a
fantastic turn out when TOpS sang carols to the regulars at
The Crown. TOpS have been fulfilling this particular
engagement for many years now and many of the regulars say
that when they come along to the pub to hear the carols it's
the start of their Christmas. Members bring their Mums and
Dads, Husbands and Wives and lots of children. The children
have a wonderful time singing their own special
Christmas songs to the audience.......the next TOpS society
in the making!
At the
end of the carols Ian Stark introduced the drawing of the
raffle, the raffle (organised by Julia Allen and Claire Fee)
had been running for 4 weeks and TOpS member Kip Parker
(playing Big Jule in TOpS next production of Guys and Dolls
at Richmond Theatre in February) won the first prize of a "Playstation
3 plus a game" worth £250.
